The Covered Wagon Farm Market has a very grass roots beginning… We started selling strawberries off the family picnic table which were grown where the parking lot is located. Slowly vegetables from the garden were added and our business grew.

The authentic Covered Wagon that sits in our yard, is a 1904 Studebaker an original from Suttons Bay. The cover was made by Linda.

It wasn’t long before we had out grown the picnic table and the plans for a “market” were underway. The construction of the market allowed for our business to start early in the spring and end late in the fall with the selling of pumpkins and other fall harvest items.
